PMR: how did you come up with the name ‘ Barshegaal ‘?
Barshegaal is a Persian word meaning Barish,it was suggested by our very close friend Ali Hassan.We decided this name because Our music is All about fresh feeling wich comes from within.
PMR: how did you come up with ‘ BAS YUHEEN ‘?
Haha Bus yunhee has a big story behind! Actually it was composed at taimurs bathroom 😛 Osama came up with the composition and the lyrics. Then me and taimur worked on the melody of the song with Osama.Luckily we got a chance to record it at one the best studios in Pakistan MashAllah,Digital Inn studios (ali Mustafa and kashif ejaz)
PMR: ‘ BAS YUHEEN ‘ has been highly appreciated by people, how do you feel after your first release?
It feels great MashAllah, the response we got .The bar has been set now and the level can only b raised further 😉 as the fans wud b expecting more from us and we will come up with the expectations hopefully, thanks to pmr team they have done a brilliant job.
PMR: Tell us about PMR and Barshegaal?
Pmr is doing a great a job in promoting the new talent of Pakistan.Internet sites like these can really help in revolutionizing the music industry of Pakistan,and they have played a major role in promoting Barshegaal.
PMR: We have been listening that the video will be next; tell us something on that account?
Yes this true! We are currently working on this project ,Barshegaal wud b surprising thr fans soon 😉
PMR: Besides Music, what else do you guys do?
Well, We all are students at Lahore school of economice.And yes We Love Arsenal fc too 😛
PMR: What really distinguishes you from other bands whets your real strength?
We don’t complicate things we keep it simple , we mailnly focus on the melodies and make the song as fresh as possible.InshAllah we will realease our other songs you will get to know the difference 😉
PMR: Being musicians, is it a child dream or a university minor?
Osama: Well i always wanted to be a musician .
Taimur : Been singing aetbaar by vital sings since i was 3 😉
Jahanzeb: The sound of guitars used to fascinate me since my school days,and when i grew up and i finally got myself a guitar, i thought that was the way to go as my major hobby and thats how it has got this far.
PMR:What’s been a real difficulty you face as being a new band?
Well we have been really lucky throughout all the phases! People like faisal khan ,ali Mustafa and lui (56ix) always supported us.But yes we had to face alot of financial problems.
PMR: Who do you guys really admire as your ideal?
Osama: Junoooooooooooooooon 😛
Taimur : Vital signs
Jahanzeb : ummm Junooon
PMR: What genre of music do you consider your work to be?
Some where between soft rock and pop, But yeah we are experimenting alot of new sounds too .
PMR: How long have you all known each other? How did you meet?
Me and taimur used to study at the same tution centre and we are friends since then,And Jahanzeb has been with taimur since the college days.
PMR: When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together?
The band was formed in 2007.. and basically the love for music .. yea it caused us to form a band
PMR: What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands?
Well actually we’r pretty much new ourselves .. but from our experience we would like to advise others to keep it original.. stay true to yourself
PMR: How can fans-to-be gain access to your music?
We’l be laucnhing our own website . but currently you can join our group on FACEBOOK by the name of Barshegaal.. and obviously PMR is always there
PMR: What disturbs you the most when you are doing music?
Lack of time and financial resources and BIJLI 😛
PMR: Who has supported/supporting in your music?

We Believe its one of the best tools for launching yourself in the Market!!
PMR: Let us know how you think videos are an important music promotion source?
Well they are very important ,specially in the Pakistan music scene where tv plays a major role.
PMR: Do you plan your events & media work before hand or things just come your way?
Honelsty ,we have been lucky.Things just come our way 😉

Yesh lost of them! We should catch the news on pmr.
