Kaffas is a rock band from islamabad that has been in the music scene for a long time but started their journey as a complete band by the end of year 2005. Kaffas came up with their Debut track called “Kaid o Kaffas” which they now call as their title track “Kaffas”. They started working on their origionals after the launch of their debut and came back with a new sound.
Kaffas is an urdu word which means prison and the band name depicts the impact their music has on their listeners in the form of cage.

In 2008 Kaffas came back with the launch of their second track called “Kyun” which is a combination of guitar harmonies with energetic riffs and drums and melodious vocals. In 2009 Kaffas is now back with their debut video of their song “Kyun” which is mainly portraying the depressing and psycho side of one’s life that mostly people suffer from.
