Video Review: Jehangir Aziz Hayat – Pretend to Be (Watch Now)

“Hello everyone,
It’s me again and extremely delighted right now to write a review for my favorite Pakistani young musician “JEHANGIR AZIZ HAYAT” again. Luckily this time I got a chance to comment on my favorite director too. I know Jehangir personally as well and apart from being a very good human being. He is really thoughtful about various issues of life. A great person is the perfect phrase to describe him. With his latest music video “Pretend to be” it can be safely assumed that Jehangir has adopted the straight forward approach and is letting out whatever he thinks about the world.

The magnanimous thoughts inside Jehangir’s mind were beautifully crafted into this 5 minute visual and that’s all what an artist
can expect from his director. Zeeshan Parwez’ is that majestic director, known for his deviant ideas Zeeshan is a perfect package. He puts all his effort into making Jehangir’s new video attractive to people of all ages. This is the first time in my whole life I’ve seen such a catchy song given the music video it truly deserved.The moods in the song remained in sync with the music video and just for that purpose the video was shot at several beautiful locations. The darkness and the light both make up this breakthrough video.

I’m sure other music video directors in the market are going to feel the pressure and competition after this video spreads to every Pakistani who’s willing to give it a try. Jehangir Aziz Hayat and Zeeshan Parwez are almost perfect together and I hope to see more from them. It’s a like a dream come true, Jehangir strumming his guitar and singing while Zeeshan cleverly capturing it behind the camera.

I repeat it’s definitely a wake up call for other musicians/directors but it is not going to be easy for anyone to match the results this duo was able to produce.”
