Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to Sing for a Pakistani Film ‘Tamanna’

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been singing for Bollywood films for quite a while and every of his single has gained immense popularity everywhere. In this journey he has won several awards in India as also he was awarded the best playback singer in 56th Filmfare, 17th Starscreen and 6th Apsara. The best achievement i could count for him was the Vocalist of the year in Mirchi Music Awards 2010 and best non-film album at GIMA.
Currently his career in India has flourished immensely but he hardly has a playback career in Pakistan. “Mein Tenu Samjhawan Ki” For “Virsa” was the only Pakistani Feature Song he did. We have heard that he would be singing a song for Humayun Saeed`s Film “Daag” but that hasn`st come out yet. There are also reports from sources that Rahat also plans to give a soundtrack to a Pakistani Film “Tamanna” which is a UK-Pakistani production and a result of British director’s Steven Moore’s love for Lahore. Sources claims that the song shall be released any minute, first of all airing on radios then followed by other mediums.
