This September, Yash Raj Films welcomes you to the craziest masaledaar wedding of the year called MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN (MBKD). Written and Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film releases worldwide on September 09, 2011. Music launching ceremony of this much awaited movie took place on August 09, 2011 with the performances of Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan. Pakistani multi-talented artist Ali Zafar now needs no introduction in Bollywood after his mega-hit Tere Bin Laden. This is Ali’s first project with Yash Raj films and Second in Bollywood.
MBKD brings a real funny and unpredictable series of events in this unusual Triangular Love story.
According to the synopsis, the movie is perfect romantic comedy display for the upper middle class of Northern India. Imran Khan as Kush Agnihotri searches a typical indian bride for his brother Luv Agnihotri, played by Ali Zafar. Luv plays the role of 30-year-old confused investment banker staying at London and the search leads Kush to Dimple Dixit (Katrina Kaif), the wackiest girl he has ever known.
As all the formalities and preparations for Luv’s wedding are completed, Kush discovers that He is actually in love with Dimple – his brother’s bride.
Ammara Hikmat, Ali’s publicist informs that the three actors will perform live during a promotional event of the movie in India.
Besides acting, Ali Zafar has also contributed his powerful vocals in a duet, “Madhubala”, with Indian singer Shweta Pandit. The fans can check the song online on Youtube and other social networks.
