The Prince of Pop, Ali Zafar, is all set to perform live at the 57th Filmfare Awards 2011. Although the singer-cum-actor is not nominated for any of the awards, he will be singing at the event.
Today, the multi-talented artist was seen rehearsing for his act along with the other artists, who will be performing for the main event. “Ali Zafar is perfecting his pitch,” Filmfare tweeted a few minutes ago.
Two other Pakistani singers – Rahat Fateh Ali Khanand Shafqat Amanat Ali have been nominated under the category of best playback singer for their songs “Teri Meri” (Bodyguard) and “Dildaara” (RA.One) respectively.
The 57th Idea Filmfare Awards 2011 will be held on January 29th, 2012 in Mumbai. The 2500th Black Lady will be given out on the occasion. The award show will be telecasted on Sony Entertainment Channel soon
