Pakistani film industry is finally on the move. With the release of action thriller ‘Operation 021’ & comedy thriller ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ earlier this month, it seems like plenty of movies are in pipeline, with another addition of upcoming movie ‘Malik’ featuring Humayun Saeed.
Malik – A movie on Bahria Town’s Malik Riaz… by comicsbyarslan
The film is based on Pakistan’s business icon, Malik Riaz, the owner of Bahria Town, which is the largest township project in whole Asia.
‘Na Maloom Afraad’s’ Urwa Hocane is playing the role of Malik’s wife, the film also casts multitalented artist, Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, as Malik’s aide.
The film, as it seems is a biopic of Malik Riaz Hussain. However, Bahria Town’s spokewoman has trashed any such news and has denied any such movie based on Malik Riaz’s life is in production.
Malik Riaz, much debated across the country for his rise from a modest family into the richest person of the country. He also is involved into social welfare works all across Pakistan.
With Humayun Saeed, the film is expected to do well, specially with a whole new story line. No release date, however, has been told about the production team of the movie.
