Farhan’s voice itself speaks for the emotions displayed in his tracks and their woeful lyrics and that can be witnessed from his latest track, Sajna. This song is the perfect illustration of a person who has loved and lost his love.
The song starts with the lyrics Kese saans chalay gi kese raat katay gi kese jee mein sakoon ga tere bin and a very doleful tune.
Mostly songs are about the broken heart,a wounded soul and the cries of the person after losing his beloved. But this song focuses on the mourning of the person after losing his beloved and we can clearly see the lamentation factor that lingers till the end of the song. The sombre lyrics tell us the woe-stricken condition the affected person is.
Hai tera rishta ye rooh se kya
Ke tere bin main hu bas jala
Jana tuje toh khud se hu mila
Toh khud se hi chhut mein raha..
These lyrics describe the closeness of the person with his beloved and how the person cannot move on as he is still stuck somewhere in the memories with his beloved.
The musical composition of this song is very clear and illustrative when it comes to display the emotions showed in the lyrics. The poignant lyrics are then of course given justice by the depth in the vocals sung by Farhan Saeed.
We all love someone so deeply in our lives that we start living ourselves and knowing ourselves through them and when we lose them , we lose ourselves. That happiness turns into utter sadness and we never feel the same. The world seems an unhappy place just because that beloved is no longer there .This song exactly portrays destruction of feelings and sentiments that a person faces at a certain stage of his life and the rest of the life is spent in mourning.
