Story outline: Goyaa is a study in contrast of its two protagonists; the headstrong, lively journalist Mohini (Sana Javed) and business graduate Omar Hashmi (Osman Khalid Butt), and how a chance encounter brings the two together. Omar, under constant pressure from his strict, controlling father, business mogul Rahat Hashmi (Usman Peerzada), finds freedom and a love free from expectations from Mohini. Stunned at his son’s rebellion, Sr. Hashmi sets out to destroy his son’s chance at independence and at love… at whatever the cost.
