PMR: First of all, tell us how you started your music career?
Adil: Well, it’s a never ending tale but I’ll try to sum it up. I always tried to sing and play the guitar. I was always passionate about music. I moved abroad for College. Dropped out after three years against everyones will and moved back. After a couple of months my dearest friend, my brother, my confidante, Uzair Jaswal. who was already a well established artist in the industry gave me an opportunity to manage him and If i come to think of it, that’s how it all started. The experiences, the road trips, all the concert, the good and the bad times and it’s during this period I decided I was going to give it a shot. So, that’s my musical journey as of now.

PMR: Tell us about your debut video and What are your expectations from it?
Adil: The video was shot in Lahore. In and around Badshahi mosque. It’s directed by a dear friend and a great talent Raza Shah. It’s just the first step, the first video. I honestly have no expectations. I just hope and pray it does well.

PMR: Tell us about your next project and when we can expect your album in market?
Adil: I’ve got a couple of songs lined up, a cover too! I’m just waiting for everyone to digest the first song and at the same time I hope to slowly, gradually improve myself, musically and vocally and produce something which hopefully does much better than my first project. Thinking about an album is really far fetched right now. I plan on taking one step at a time and I hope to not let anyone down. If things works out, I’ll definitely look into working on an album too.

PMR: How do you see the internet market for upcoming/underground bands in terms of marketing tool and what do u expect?
Adil: Internet marketing is a fantastic phenomenon. There’s barely anything happening in Pakistan for the betterment of musicians. Internet’s the only way to promote ourselves right now. I expect the internet to carry musicians forward, break all the boundaries and barriers and benefit musicians sooner or later.

PMR: You are into Modelling and Acting as well ?? tell us more about it
Adil: Well, I don’t really aspire to be a model but if there’s an opportunity, why not? I’ve acted, I’d love to act If given the chance but for now I plan on focusing only on music.

PMR:what do u think about PMR and how you will rate it ?? help us to improve more
Adil: PMR! Anyone whose grown up in Pakistan with a keen eye on the music industry definitely knows of PMR. I think when there’s no hope for an underground band/artist, there’s PMR. Kudos to the PMR team. They’ve done a brilliant job and continue to do so!
