The news is that Bollywood will now have One Direction heart-throb Zayn Malik.
Farah has recently been all praise for the young singer, saying, “He is undoubtedly very popular. When I went to London for the Asian Film Festival, he had just split from One Direction. Everyone just kept talking about him. He is a really good looking guy. Quite cute, so why not?” Affirming Farah’s compliments, Zayn too tweeted to a fan that Main Hoon Na is one of his favourite films! The tweet said, “Main Hoon Naa. Great film, quite relevant title, too.”
And such is the power of social media that the tweet got retweeted 27,000 times and garnered over 57,000 favourites! And Farah Khan who directed the film tweeted her own series of thank-yous saying, “You should be in MHN2”!
The captain of the Rs 100-crore club and the queen of box-office hits, Farah Khan has only worked with Shah Rukh Khan, save one film Tees Maar Khan, which failed abysmally at the box office. But given SRK’s current commitments, he is unlikely to be free before 2017-18. So, it will be interesting to see if Farah will bite the bait and launch Zayn’s Bollywood career!
