Pakistan vs Zimbabwe would be the first international match to be played in Pakistan after six years of absence of International cricket from Pakistan. The Twenty20 matches are scheduled to be played on Friday (May 22) and Sunday (May 24).

According to local media reports, around 600 tickets worth Rs 1500 each were stolen on Friday from The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) headquarters in Lahore. The PCB has registered an FIR while the police have caught a person named Azam selling tickets in black from the Gulberg area of Lahore.

Tickets went on sale in Pakistan on May 17 for the series against Zimbabwe; days after a major militant attack put the visit in doubt.

Pakistan government has maintained high level of security to ensure peaceful tour of Zimbabwe. As per local media reports, this tour of Zimbabwe supposed to give the message to whole world that Pakistan is still a safe land for Cricket.

Zimbabwe Team reached Pakistan on May 19 and practiced for two days in the Gaddafi stadium. Now, today the team is all set to face Pakistan on their home ground.
