Overload concludes its tour of Britain with a bang

OVERLOAD, the loudest band in Asia, ended an eight date tour of the United Kingdom recently, making waves at prestigious venues like the Rock n’ Roll venue ‘The Roadhouse’ in Manchester, Queen Elizabeth Foyer – Southbank in London, the Farsley Festival and the event titled “Trouble at Mill’ in Yorkshire. The band also played two separate sets at the BBC London & Lancashire studios.

“Overload is enjoying its cult status and an increasing number of people are beginning to understand what we’ve been doing these past 12 years. I’m so glad that so many people came to watch us play & went back with a great memory of a contemporary Pakistani band. They’re calling us an Organic Trance Band which is a great description for our acoustic rhythm section”, said the frontman, Farhad Humayun in a candid interview.
With Nasir Sain on Dhol, Aziz Ibrahim on Guitar & founding member Farhad Humayun on Vocals & Drums, Overload left a great impact on the English public and press, as a group of multi faceted and versatile musicians, playing “world class” music. The band is in talks with promoters for another burst of concerts in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow later this year and also some dates in Washington D.C, New York & Hollywood.
