Pakistani singer Atif Aslam made his entry as a playback singer in Bollywood a decade ago. His songs Woh lamhe (Zeher; 2005) and Aadat (Kalyug; 2005) ranked him among the most sought-after singers in the Hindi film industry. However, while he has lent his voice to several actors, he had never sung a track picturised on Salman Khan. Atif Aslam has a huge fan base in India, and he gave his voice for so many A-Grade heroes including Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna, Ranbir Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi and many more. Now, for the first time, Atif has crooned for the actor in Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It will be interesting to see how Atif’s chemistry with Salman will be!!
Salman Khan Approaches Atif Aslam for Tu Chahiye in Bajrangi Bhaijaan: “Tu chahiye is a love song, which will be shot in old Delhi. When Salman heard the scratch of the song, he suggested we record it with Atif. This will be the first time Atif will sing for him.” said Amar Butala, COO of Salman’s production company. After the Selfie Le Le Re song, the mushy romantic number Tu Chahiye is the first song sung by Atif Aslam for a Salman Khan film. Composed by Pritam, the song will be released this week soon after the trailer is released on June 18. The song is choreographed by Ahmed Khan.
