It all started when Ali Zafar invited Sidharth Malhotra for some spicy food … and if these two of South Asia’s most popular hunks, Ali Zafar and Sidharth Malhotra, weren’t enough to tantalise fans in both India and Pakistan in a recent ‘spicy’ advertisement for soft drink Sprite, the beverage giant has more up its sleeve.
South African cricketing star Shaun Pollock has been signed up by Sprite for their next ad to be shot in Karachi. The upcoming ad has already got cricket fans excited after a picture was leaked on social media showing Shaun in Karachi waiting to try the scrumptious katakat. With cricket fever running high these days with one tournament after the other, it was only fitting that Shaun was taken in board to create an exciting combination with local Pakistani food. What’s more is that Shaun is likely to speak a bit of Urdu also in the commercial. We will just have to wait and watch what magic Sprite and Shaun Pollock bring to screen.
