Humayun Saeed Wins Best Actor for Jawani Phir Nahin Ani at AFA16
One of the most prestigious awards of the Pakistani film industry, the ARY Film Awards were held in Dubai at the Madinat Arena in Madinat Jumeirah on 16th April’16. The highlight of the evening was Humayun and his co-stars Ahmed Ali Butt and Vasay Chaudhry from Jawani Phir Nahin Ani coming together to perform on a mashup of the soundtrack of the movie. The starry affair concluded with Humayun taking home the trophy for the Best Actor for his performance in Jawani Phir Nahin Ani.

It wouldn’t be wrong to state that the evening belonged to Humayun’s home production Jawani Phir Nahin Ani, which won the highest number of awards overall including the categories Best Actor Female, Best Supporting Actor [Male & Female], Best Actor in a Comic Role, Best Music, Best Choreography, Best Editing, Best Action, Best Story, Best Screenplay, Best Dialogue, Best Makeup and Best Costume Design. The movie also walked away with the Best Film and Best Director in both audience and jury’s choice categories.
